Kevin Dale Moir, 55, of Indianapolis, formerly of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Moir was employed as an Account Representative for Providence Group from 2005 until the time of his death. He had also worked for five years as a General Manager for John Hubler and seventeen years for Pat Ryan & Associates serving as Vice President.
He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg, Indiana, Knights of Columbus 2nd Degree and was President of Delta Sigma Pi. He was a 1971 graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus and he received his Masters Degree in 1980 from the Indiana School of Business.
He enjoyed woodworking, poetry, fresh water fishing, fantasy football, Indiana University basketball, music and anything that required working with his hands.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Indianapolis. Visitation will be at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Pius Catholic Church.
Born June 19, 1953, in Columbus, Kevin was the son of Conrad and Lois Wilds Moir. He married Kris Suttmiller on November 3, 1979, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Indianapolis.

Surviving along with his wife are three sons, Sean and Scot Moir of Indianapolis, and Andrew James "A.J." Moir of Bloomington; two brothers, Robin Moir of Ben Wheeler, Texas, and Terrin Moir of North Vernon; one sister, Joy Doup of North Vernon; and two grandchildren, Dakota William Riley Moir of Lebanon, and Bailey Roberts of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Colin Moir.
