Philip Anthony Scudder, 77, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus, Indiana.
Mr. Scudder was born on February 4, 1932 to Helen Scudder in Indianapolis, IN.
Mr. Scudder worked in the construction business for many years. He served in the United States Air Force for 2 years. He was a member of many different types of outdoor organizations. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading.
He is survived by dear friends, Paul & Jean Adams of North Vernon, Indiana.
He is preceded by his wife Doris Clements Scudder and his mother.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 16, 2009 at the Indiana Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplin Dennis Ferguson of the North Vernon V.F.W. Post 2021 officiating. Arrangements were made through Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana.
