Marjorie Louise Marshall, 77, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 12:37 a.m. on Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Nashville, Indiana.
Mrs. Marshall was born on December 4, 1932 in Junction City, Kentucky, the daughter of Lyons and Alma Shoemaker Sallee. She married Gerald Marshall on May 3, 1951 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He preceded her death on August 28, 1997.
Mrs. Marshall was a devoted mother and wife. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in North Vernon, Indiana, where she was baptized on March 17, 1947. Her hobbies included cooking, reading, church activities and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two sons, Rick Marshall of Cleveland, Tennessee, Jeff (Kris) Marshall of Dalton, Georgia; three daughters, Joyce Marshall and Teresa Marshall both of Greensburg, Indiana and Jan (Wade) Reder of Nashville, Indiana; three sisters, Jean Vance-Welsh of North Vernon, Indiana, Ann Johnson of Woodbury, Tennessee and Judy Kemp of Atlanta, Georgia; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, James Sallee and William Sallee.
Funeral Service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in North Vernon, Indiana with the Pastor's Manuel Ojeda and Gary Case officiating. The Family would like to invite Friends to join them for a time of fellowship at the Church after the service. A private burial is planned. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana
