Kevin Lee Jayne, 33, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mr. Jayne was born on December 10, 1976 in Columbus, Indiana the son of Ernest Lee and Patricia Ann Skaggs Jayne. He married Kelly Coats on July 19, 1997 at the Muscatatuck Park in North Vernon, Indiana.
Mr. Jayne worked for Design & Analysis in Hope, Indiana for 8 years as a engineer. He was a 1995 Graduate of Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Indiana. Went on to attend Indiana State University and in 2002 graduated from Ivy Tech College in Columbus, Indiana with a degree in Engineering. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church In North Vernon, Indiana and a member of the Friends of Muscatatuck. His hobbies included canoeing, hunting, being outdoors and was a Colts fan.
Survivors include his parents of North Vernon, Indiana; his wife; a son, Kamren Jayne of North Vernon, Indiana; a daughter, Kirsten Jayne of North Vernon, Indiana; a sister, Christinia Maiden of Scipio, Indiana; a grandfather, Herley Skaggs of North Vernon, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the 1st Methodist Church in North Vernon, Indiana with Rev. Marvin Sweet officiating. Friends may call at the 1st United Methodist Church on Friday, March 12, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in North Vernon, Indiana. Services are in the care Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, Indiana.
Memorials may be made though the Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home to 1st United Methodist Church or Friends of Muscatatuck River.
