William "Bill" Stephen Perry, 65, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away at 11:56 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, Indiana.
Mr. Perry was born on April 14, 1944 in Madison, Indiana, the son of the late William V. and Helen Jean Amick Perry. He married Kathy Eversole on February 9, 1980 in North Vernon, Indiana. She survives.
Mr. Perry was a tool maker for Martinrea in North Vernon, Indiana for 47 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp., from 1962 until 1968 during Vietnam. He graduated from North Vernon High School in 1962. He was a former member of Matt Hester Post #2021 V.F.W. and Moose Lodge both in North Vernon, Indiana. His enjoyments were traveling, bicycling, Park Theatre activities and he was extremely proud of his Marine Corp. heritage.
Surviving with his wife, are one son, Brian Perry and his fiancée Kara Wanstrath of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Janet (Ronnie) Woodson of North Vernon, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home. Friends may call at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery with members of Matt Hester Post #2021 providing Military graveside rites.
