I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Roy. He was a cornerstone of the Lovitt and Tea Creek community and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him and his family.

Dear David, Lisa, Bethany & Haley -We send our love and deepest sympathy at the passing of your Dad and Grandfather; we know he was a wonderful man and we appreciated having the opportunity to meet him when he and your mother visited Hope Elementary School at various times over the years! He had to be proud of his children and grandchildren! David, I hope you realize how blessed you were to have your Dad with you for these many years - we both lost our Dads early in our married life (they were in their 50's), so our children never knew their Grandads at all. We are sure your daughters will have many special memories of time spent with "Grandad Roy." Please extend our sympathies to Sally, Pam, your Mother and other family members. I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Roy late in his life. It was such a pleasure to meet the man I had heard stories about for 30 years from his son David. Roy had the ability to smile and make you feel welcome in his presence immediately upon meeting him. In sharing time with his children, it is obvious that he has been a hero to each of them. Thank you Roy for the lives you have touched, for your patriotism and for the love and lessons you have shared with your family. I know you will be missed.
