Jason's mom & dad,
I graduated high school with Jason and I remember him being a sweet and friendly guy. I am deeply sorry for your loss of this wonderful child of God. I pray that the legacy that he has left behind passes on through the people that knew him well.

I only knew Jason through message boards, and never got the chance to meet him in person. He was always been so kind and helpful to everyone. I always enjoyed talking to him about guitars especially Ibanez PGM's. He was a valued member of the Racer X band forum and we all will miss him.

Although I've not had the pleasure of meeting Jason in person the one thing you can say about Racer X fans is we love the band and everyone in the forum supported each other. I would like to thank Jason for giving so much of himself and his passion for music through the site.

My prayers and condolences go to Jason and his family. Please Rest In Peace Jason and may you feel the love your family and friends have for you...

Jason, aka JasonK was an extremely valued and respected member of the heavy metal band, Racer X Website forum.

In the internet age, often the worst is revealed in people when they are online. Not Jason, as he was an amazing, kind and valued member of our online community. When someone is nice online, you can be fairly certain that they are nice in real life. No one on the Racer X forum has any doubt that Jason Kahrs was an outstanding human being.

Jason was on this planet for far too short of time, but his impact has been felt far beyond his home, family and local community. People all over the world are sadden by the loss, as it echos his impact in life and now sadly in death.

May Jason find peace and continue to make music. We all will miss you very much.

With love...Ken and the rest of the band, Racer X.

Jason was a good person. His loss just isn't right. I may have known him through limited means but that by no means limited his personality, his help and most of all his kindness. He shouldn't have gone. Definitely should not have gone.

It's a total loss; he was a great guy, very polite and nice.. I still can't believe that he's not with us anymore.
Sad but true.. only the goods die young.
Requiescat in pacem.

I promised myself that when I become a doctor, I'd repay the people who helped me when I was unable. I'm just devastated to hear that I can't do so anymore because you're gone. I'm going to frame that saddle and I will never forget the kindness you have shown me. I miss you already, man. RIP Jason Kahrs.

P.S. I'm writing you a song. I hope you like it.

Known him online for about 6 years through a forum. He's always well-mattered, and loved by all of the members of Racer X forum.

RIP, and thank you for this beautiful friendship. We're totally inspired by your dreams you lived in your life.

Thank you for bringing us hope in this world in this broken-down world.

Paula and Bill - I am still in shock at the suddenness of your loss. I know that the two of you are probably having a MOST difficult time. Although we are in TX and can't be there to hug you in person, I wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers! I know that our God will see you through this. Give yourself a hug until I can offer one in person.

I went to JCHS with Jason. Even though it has been many years, hearing of his passing brought immediate, vivid memories of his kindness and creative energy. He will be missed.
